September 2 – 10, 2018

The Goodwood Revival is the only major sporting event in the world to take place completely in period. Furthermore Goodwood is the only classic circuit in the world to be entirely in its original form and the whole site has been maintained and dressed to be exactly how it was in the heyday of motor racing – perfect in every detail. It is the ultimate experience – a magical step back in time to a different era, celebrating both motor racing and flying. You will enjoy the thrill of watching the world’s most exotic and valuable historic racing cars being driven absolutely on the limit. The event is an intoxicating mix of incredible machinery, extraordinary driving, fabulous fashion, and the glorious noise and atmosphere of the world’s most evocative cars and aircraft.

We start our program with a stay in the Midlands, the original hub of the British car industry. Based in wonderful Stratford upon Avon we take day trips to visit the Jaguar and Morgan car factories, car museums and two restoration shops involving Aston Martin. An exciting new addition this year is a visit to Williams F1 with a private tour of the Museum and Trophy Room followed by lunch in their Hospitality Suite. We have also added an extra day to allow for some leisurely touring through the beautiful countryside of the Cotswolds.

September 2-3-4-5 - Stratford Upon Avon - Heathrow arrival and transfer to Stratford. Our hotel, the Stratford, is in the heart of the town. At dinner we are joined by Le Mans winner Richard Attwood. Scheduled are visits to the Jaguar and Morgan factories. Also included is the Aston Martin factory restoration centre and a visit to Desmond Smail’s Aston Martin showroom, and metal fabrication shop. Also planned are visits to the Gaydon Car Museum and a visit to a major Porsche Historic Rally Preparation Shop. During our four days in the Midlands we will be driving through and visiting a number of beautiful Cotswold villages, one which even has an old garage that has morphed into a museum.

September 6-7-8-9-10 – Goodwood – Based in nearby Portsmouth at the Marriott Hotel. En route from Stratford to Portsmouth we visit Williams F1 for a private visit to their Museum and Trophy Room with lunch in their Hospitality suite. It’s then to Goodwood House for Lord March’s pre-Goodwood cricket match, ending in an amazing Spitfire air display. Dinner includes a guest speaker. Our first taste of the Revival also includes visits to the National Car Museum at Beaulieu and the Bonhams auction. In the evening we visit an historic pub for dinner. Both Saturday and Sunday we are based in the ‘Ultimate Salvadori Suite’ the top Hospitality section at the event. The cars are racing through the chicane just a few feet from us. Each day we are visited by racing celebrities and are also accompanied through the Paddock with Alain DeCadenet, a mine of knowledge. Sunday dinner we are joined by 5-time Le Mans winner Derek Bell and Brian Redman.

Allowing you to enjoy this event in total your Goodwood Revival includes admission to the VIP hospitality suites. Not only do you get track side viewing but the privacy of our own marquee which includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and continuous service of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All this and period entertainment of WWII aircraft and WAAF entertainers. Paddock access is also offered, an opportunity to see the cars up close and mix with both drivers and celebrities. Included in your welcome packet will be a souvenir program and ear set to tune into Radio Goodwood for the entire weekend. Period attire is suggested but not compulsory and can be as simple as summer frocks/pant suits and sports jacket and slacks.
