ENGLAND & the GOODWOOD REVIVAL 2026
September 13-21, 2026 - 9 day Program REVIVAL ONLY - September 17 - 21, 2026 5 day Program
The Goodwood Revival is the only major sporting event in the world to take place completely in the period. Furthermore, Goodwood is the only classic circuit in the world to be entirely in its original form, and the whole site has been maintained and dressed to be exactly how it was in the heyday of motor racing – perfect in every detail. It is the ultimate experience. A magical step back in time to a different era, celebrating both motor racing and flying. You will enjoy the thrill of watching the world’s most exotic and valuable historic racing cars being driven absolutely on the limit. The event is an intoxicating mix of incredible machinery, extraordinary driving, fabulous fashion, and the glorious noise and atmosphere of the world’s most evocative cars and aircraft.
We start our program with touring in the Midlands and Southern Cotswolds, the original hub of the British car industry. We enjoy this remarkably beautiful region while visiting automobile factories, exceptional car museums and idyllic villages. Two exceptional visits include the Morgan factory and a major Aston Martin restoration. Our Cotswold based hotel is on a bend of the River Thames at Oxford. Our exceptional restaurants also include an historic Inn on Oxford’s River Isis.
September 13, 14 & 15 – The tour starts at the Heathrow Hilton Terminal 4 lobby at 11:00am for our transfer to Oxford. Please check our meeting schedule and arrival times at the end of this Itinerary. Our hotel, the Oxford Thames, is nestled in the Oxfordshire countryside. Our three days in the Cotswolds will include visits to the British car Museum at Gaydon, that now also includes the Jaguar Collection. A day in the Cotswold countryside with a superb visit to the Morgan factory and an anticipated visit to Jeremy Clarkson’s ‘Diddly Squat Farm’. Another exceptional day is a visit to Desmond Smail’s Aston Martin Restoration business, and includes visits to a number of collections in private garages. Our dinners are included, one at our hotel and two at historic restaurants in the Oxford area, all are first class and always include both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Guest speakers will be announced at a later date.

September 16, 17, 18, 19 & 20 – Our tour now heads south for Goodwood. We are based in the Portsmouth Marriott Hotel for five nights. En route from Oxford, we visit Stonehenge and even older, Old Sarum, two of the most ancient places in Britain. Our lunch break will include a visit to Salisbury. The English Gothic Cathedral is an outstanding historic edifice and well worth its visit. Later this afternoon we arrive at our hotel and settle in for a nice five night stay. This evening we have a relaxed ‘pub’ dinner. Our next busy day includes visits to the brilliant National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, arguably the finest car museum in Britain. It’s then on to Goodwood House. This is the real start to the fabulous Goodwood Revival. The Duke of Richmond’s pre-Goodwood cricket match, ending in an amazing Spitfire air display, totally sets up the ‘Goodwood’ atmosphere. Get ready for the greatest car event on earth! Below is a list of what to expect at the Revival. During our stay at Portsmouth we have two of our dinners at the hotel, with Guest Speakers that include Derek Bell. We also enjoy a great dinner of traditional ‘fish ‘n chips’ (the best anywhere) at a harbour side restaurant and a traditional pub overlooking the Solent.

September 21 - Our departure day. Our coach departs Portsmouth at 8:30am to arrive at Heathrow by 11:30am. Please make sure your departing flight is after 1:00pm.
Both Saturday and Sunday, we are based in the ‘Ultimate Salvadori Suite’, the top Hospitality section at the event. The cars are racing through the chicane just a few feet from us. Each day, we are visited by racing celebrities. Sunday dinner, we are joined by 5-time Le Mans winner Derek Bell.

REVIVAL Allowing you to enjoy this event in total, your Goodwood Revival includes 3-days admission. Friday you have admission and Roving Grandstand seating. We suggest this is the day to walkabout and discover the event, there is lots to see apart from the track and the racing. Check out the Air Park, the Vending areas and the large ‘Across the Road’ which includes a fun fare, lots of vendor and display booths, outdoor movies, bands and the unmissable pre-1966 car park. On Saturday and Sunday we move into our Salvadori Hospitality Suite, located at the inside chicane and without any doubt the best viewing locale. Not only do you get track side viewing, but the privacy of our own marquee which includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and continuous service of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All this and period entertainment of WWII aircraft and WAAF entertainers. Paddock access offers, an opportunity to see the cars up close and mix with both drivers and celebrities. Included in your welcome packet will be a souvenir program and ear set to tune into Radio Goodwood. Period attire is suggested, but not compulsory and can be as simple as summer frocks/pant suits and sports jacket and slacks. More ‘period’ clothing suggestions will be available closer to the tour.
